Brandi passante became famous after she was featured on A&E's "Storage wars', the reality series that featured Jarrod Schulz. Both of them gained fame and recognition from the show. Storage lockers, which are rented out to tenants who haven't paid their rent for the last three months, are auctioned off during the show. Brandi and Jarrod of the Now and Then Thrift Store in Orange California took part in this program hoping to find the cheapest storage units. Little did they know that the show would actually create reality-TV stars from them! The show's success was due to the couple whom were extremely polite with their bids during the show and became celebrities. Their success on reality television helped the couple's business, and enabled them to expand. The popularity of their "Storage Wars" show was the catalyst for a spinoff titled 'Brandi & Jarrod: married to work, with a focus on the couple.
